We tend to measure success by material things, number of followers/engagement rate, amount of certificates and medals. Everyone wants to be a champion at everything... Exhausting.
"Do this, do that."
Who guarantees we will succeed by using the same path? We all have different timelines, we come from different places, have completely distinct experiences, and we are living in different cycles — simultaneously.
I prefer to see success from a different perspective:
Success is refusing to be trapped in a rat race of a corporate career, and deciding to do what you love.
Success is having emotional intelligence and making decisions without causing pain and suffering to others.
Success is having personal accountability and understanding that there is no running away from karma.
Success is managing your schedule in a way that you spend more time with your friends than on social media.
Success is the wisdom of being grateful for the small things in life: the comfort of your bed, a hot shower, a snack while watching your favorite show, a call from someone that will make you smile from ear to ear: “Let’s go for a walk?”
Success is being happy without a reason, being important to someone by having interest in their lives, and being open to the miracles that are waiting for you.
